GRAND LAKE — Keshawn Lyons accounted for 349 yards of offense and four touchdowns to lead Elton to a 50-29 District 4-1A win over Grand Lake Friday night.
Lyons scored on a 63-yard pass, a 41-yard run and threw touchdown passes of 60 yards to Derrick Finley and 80 yards to Alex Leonard. Darnell Robinson ran for 100 yards and added touchdown runs of 4 and 79 yards for Elton 4-5, 4-2). Leonard finished with 144 yards receiving and Jecorey Soileau scored on a 43-yard fumble return for the Indians.
Grand Lake (4-5, 1-5) was led by Adolfo Reyes, who ran for 86 yards, including an 8-yard touchdown run. Kade Delcambre threw for 95 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown to Thomas Delaney. Delcambre also ran for 59 yards and another touchdown.
Over the past two weeks, Lyons has accounted for nine touchdowns in leading the Indians to a pair of wins.
Elton hosts Merryville (1-8, 0-6) in the regular-season finale next week. Grand Lake will travel to district-leading Oberlin (7-2, 6-0).
District 4-2A

DEQUINCY — Will Smith threw long touchdown passes to three receivers as DeQuincy evened its district record with a victory over winless Mamou.
The Tigers (5-4, 2-2) also got 152 yards rushing from Kaleb Buck, who scored on runs of 16 and 5 yards.
Smith, who has 11 touchdown passes, connected with Adrian Gates from 60 yards out for the game’s first touchdown.
He later found Delvin Baker for a 47-yard score and Jake Cooper from 43 yards away.
Smith finished 15-of-21 passing for 362 yards.
Cooper was the leading receiver with five receptions for 147 yards. Gagtes added 91 yards on four catches.
Mamou (0-9, 0-4) was led by Shawn Malveaux with 95 yards rushing.
The Tigers led 28-0 at the half.
DeQuincy hosts Lake Arthur next week, while Mamou hosts Vinton.
District 3-2A

OAKDALE — James Ervins ran for 203 yards and scored three times to lead the Warriors.
Oakdale (4-5, 2-2) also got three touchdowns from Terrance Homles, who scored on receptions of 42 and 58 yards and an 18-yard run. He finished with four receptions for 82 yards and has scored seven touchdowns over the past three weeks.
Bunkie (3-6, 0-4) was withing 24-21 at halftime, but was shutout in the second half. The Panthers hung around early, getting first-half touchdowns on a 5-yard run by Mitchell Hukins and runs of 21 and 51 yards by Arthur Howard.
Oakdale pulled away with 26 second half points. Ervins started the outburst with a 69-yard run. He scored on runs of 21 and 35 yards in the first half.
Oakdale quarterback Slate Jordan threw for 118 yards and three touchdowns on 6-of-9 passing.
The win gave Oakdale consecutive victories for the first time this season.
The Warriors close the regular season at Menard next week. Menard beat Pickering 21-20 to remain in the district title chase. The Eagles can win a share of the district title with a win over Oakdale and Many loss to Pickering. Many has already clinched at least a share of the title. Pickering will also earn a share of the title with a win next week.
