The city of Oakdale will be closed on Friday, Dec. 30, and Monday, Jan. 2, for New Year’s.

The Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk Visitors Center adjacent to the main gate will be closed Jan. 1 as well as ACP 2 (La. 467 north), ACP 4 (Louisiana Avenue at La. 10), ACP 5 (La. 476 and 10) and ACP 6 (Chaffee Road).

All Calcasieu Parish Public Library branches will be closed for the New Year’s holidays Dec. 31–Jan. 1. Materials may be dropped off in the book drop boxes located at each branch and no late fees will be incurred during the closures.
