A 30 year-old Lake Charles man has been charged in connection to a Dec. 27 shooting on 3rd Street, said authorities.
The shooting, which occurred in the 2000 block of 3rd Street, left one victim hospitalized with multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds, said Cpl. Larry Moss. He said that detectives identified Mackie Roberson, of 903 Fall St., as the suspect.
Moss said that Roberson was located on Tuesday at a Tallow Road residence and was taken into custody without incident. Roberson was charged with attempted second degree murder.
Judge David Ritchie set Roberson’s bond at $500,000.
Moss said that the investigation is continuing and that anyone with information about the shooting should contact Det. Dustin Gaudet at 491-1311.
