MARRERO -- Authorities are searching for a man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of his ex-wife's boyfriend in Marrero.
Media outlets report the Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office says in a news release that 55-year-old Dionicio Ibarra is wanted for second-degree murder in death of 34-year-old Isauro Guerrero.
Ibarra is suspected of gunning down Guerrero, who authorities say was shot once in the back on Friday.
Officials say Ibarra's children described Guerrero as the new boyfriend of Ibarra's ex-wife.
Anyone with information on Ibarra's whereabouts is asked to call JPSO's Investigation's Bureau at 504-364-5300.
