The committee searching for the next McNeese State University president will meet today in Baton Rouge to review candidate materials presented by the University of Louisiana System.
The committee will review the credentials of the 15 candidates and select semifinalists to participate in on-campus interviews, set for April 10-11.
“Each semifinalist will be interviewed by the search committee in a public meeting,” said McNeese spokeswoman Candace Townsend.
“Each candidate will also meet with students, faculty, staff, alumni and community representatives.”
Finalists will be presented to the full ULS Board, and interviews will then be conducted. McNeese earlier hosted presidential search committee meetings and a public forum.
McNeese President Philip Williams, who has served since July 1, 2010, will retire on June 30.
