Well, it’s October. And the 37th week of The Presidential Apprentice. I don’t know why I feel compelled to count the weeks, but I guess I’m clinging to the hope that we end up measuring the duration this presidency in weeks rather than years. I mean, something’s got to give, at some point. We can’t keep up this pace!
As you know by now, there’s no such thing as a weekend press cycle with this dingbat. So we’ll have to get started right out of the gate with the insanity round-up. Even odds that we don’t get all the way through it this week, before it all starts again.

Almost out of month, totally out of week, but chock full of serious contemplations and lots of water (hydrate!) David Waldman presents us with plenty to consider over our weekends. Tom Price-tag regrets your concern about your money that he’s spending, almost as much as he regrets you catching him. Trump’s cabinet loves living large, but don’t they know they’re supposed to milk lobbyists for this money? Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump and others in the White House used private email accounts and servers to do government business, so the White House will look into that and get back to us in about 2 weeks. Speaking of Hillary Clinton, she wasn’t the only Democrat whose campaign got hacked in 2016. Mark Zuckerberg’s monster has already gotten away from him, and maybe even the Russian government can’t control it. You can’t out fake fake news, it will just eat that and get stronger. Fake news even outwitted Sebastian Gorka, so we might as well all surrender. Paul Manafort didn’t owe Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, Deripaska owed him $19 million for American secrets, so there. Colin Kaepernick started by sitting during national anthems, but was counseled to kneel by veterans. They didn’t have to tell him white people wouldn’t like anything he did. Speaking of inscrutable whites, these western ethnocentrists just hate white nationalists. Meanwhile, while we fight against Obamacare repeal, two vital programs that serve 18 million Americans are set to expire.
