ABSTRACT: The administration’s refusal thus far to admit that the Dodd-Frank Act may be responsible for what could be a future financial catastrophe, must be seen as a wholly political effort to defend what they see as one of President Obama’s key legacies. With financial markets “flashing danger” it is time to look objectively at this problem before it causes another financial crisis. Thus, the Dodd-Frank Act is not only holding back the growth of the economy by reducing the credit available for small businesses; it is also creating the foundation for another financial crisis in the future.
