Dolby Elementary: New student registration, 8 a.m.-noon Aug. 1-5. Documents required are a permit from the attendance office, child’s birth certificate, Social Security card, shot record, and any custody or health documents. Assessment fees are $15 for K-5 students and $10 for pre-K students. Families can join PTO, register for extended day care, and order yearbooks and spirit shirts. R.W. Vincent Elementary: New student registration, 9 a.m.-noon beginning Aug. 1. Students must have the following documents to register: two proofs of residence, with one being a current electric bill and the other a utility or dated lease agreement; notarized affidavit if the bills are not in the parent’s name; certified birth certificate; Social Security card; shot record; and any custody documents. Pre-K registration will be 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 1. The child must be 4 on or before Sept. 30. Documents needed include certified birth certificate; child’s Social Security card; shot record; parent’s picture ID; address verification proof; income verification, including two consecutive check stubs; an official letter from employer stating where the parent/guardian works, hourly rate of pay and the average number of weekly work hours; and any custody documents.
Ray D. Molo Middle: New and returning student registration, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 2-3 and 10 a.m.-noon Aug. 6. Students new to the school system will need to obtain a permit from the attendance office. Students must supply a birth certificate, Social Security card and shot records. A registration fee of $20 will be collected from both new and returning students. School spirit shirts will be available for $15.
Nelson Elementary: New student registration, 8:30-11:30 a.m. beginning Aug. 1. Documents needed include permit to register from the attendance office, birth certificate, shot record, Social Security card and any custody papers. A meet-and-greet will be 1-3 p.m. Aug. 10; parents will meet teachers, pay fees, register for day care and buy spirit shirts. Pre-K orientation will be at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 15.
T.H. Watkins Elementary: New student, kindergarten and pre-K registration, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Aug. 1-5. Documents needed are permit to register from the attendance office, certified copy of student’s birth certificate, Social Security card and health card. School fee of $15 may be paid at this time.
John F. Kennedy Elementary: New student registration, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 1-8. Children must have birth certificates, shot records and Social Security cards, along with permits for children new to the school. A meet-and-greet will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 11.
